pyTDS is a software utility (Win9x,Win2K,WinXP), written in Python, with the Pythoncard GUI, which can communicate with an oscilloscope (Tektronix: TDSxxx family ) through the serial port RS232c. The principle consists to download the screen hardcopy image (bitmap format) and to save in a file, and also to print. This software utility drives the oscilloscope with standard commands defined by Tektronix. The oscilloscope must have his serial port configured with 19200 bps, Control: None and Parity:None. So the configuration file: pyTDS.INI , where are saved his own configuration.
